SWIGGY - Introducing No-contact Deliveries & Genie

To get a No-contact Delivery of your order, you can opt-in at the checkout page. Your delivery partner will be notified to leave your order on a clean surface near your doorstep.

  • Your partner will give you a call or ring the bell, and send you a photo of the delivery before marking it as delivered.
  • This will be followed by a notification and an SMS.You can pick up the order immediately after.
  • You can see the photo sent by the delivery partner on the order tracking screen. No-contact Deliveries are not applicable on cash-on-delivery orders.

Swiggy Expands Grocery Delivery Now

The company said it is enabling on-demand procurement and delivery of essentials to the customers’ doorstep. 

Aimed at serving individual buyers, the SWIGGY app also have an option for the Koyambedu market.A combo pack, having 14 to 16 vegetables and 5 fruits, can be ordered. 

Swiggy Genie launched for hyperlocal delivery service

Genie opens up the platform for pick up and drop-off of items from anywhere within the city. It has revamped its offering ‘Swiggy Go’ by launching a hyperlocal delivery service ‘Genie’ in over 15 cities.

  • Through the ‘Grocery’ category in the app, consumers can directly view available stores in their locality, add items to their cart for payment and opt for ‘No-contact’ delivery on prepaid orders. 
  • Swiggy Genie goes directly after Dunzo with pick-up and drop-off of items or parcels from anywhere within the city. This includes instant pick up and drops service to send packages across the city or purchase essentials from a particular store. 

Swiggy have taken another step for COVID -19 by introducing the No-Contact Delivery Feature.
